We believe it is a privilege to provide personal care and support to people in their own homes. Our focus is helping people lead fulfilled, independent lives, and our support workers look for every opportunity to add to their wellbeing.

Welcoming a carer into your home can be a big step, and knowing when the time is right can be confusing. Whether you need help with light household tasks or care throughout the day, our staff will make the change as easy as possible.

There is no generic care plan at Delight. The person we support, not us, decides what their care looks like, and keeps as much independence as possible while knowing help is there when they need it.

Paying for care at home

Many people worry about how to pay for care at home. Some of the people we support are fully or partly funded by their local social work department, and others use Direct Payments, which let you choose your own care provider instead of care arranged by the local authority.

Whether you pay privately or through Direct Payments, we will work with you to find a care package that suits your needs and your finances. Contact your local office to talk through the options.
